The Perineal Repair Course - A Workshop for the Repair of 2nd, 3rd and 4th Degree Tears, was established in 2002 by Mr Remon Keriakos of the Sheffield Teaching Hospitals (NHS Trust) and has been run regularly twice a year.  The course has attracted delegates from the national and international community and has continually received praise for its high quality.  The course is run locally, nationally and internationally. On 15 of June 2019 it was run at the RCOG as part of the RCOG World Congress Workshops

The Workshop for the Repair of 2nd, 3rd and 4th Degree Tears is a recognised training course for Consultants, Registrars, Trainees, Midwives and Colorectal Surgeons and forms part of the Yorkshire & Humber Dearnery training.  All trainees within the Yorkshire and Humber region can apply directly through the Deanery by contacting Susan McGrath, Undergraduate Teaching Co-ordinator on Tel: 0113 2064825, School of Emergency Medicine, Medical Education, Clinical Practice Centre, Ashley Wing, St James's University Hospital, Beckett Street, Leeds, LS9 7TF.
